Client Service Department Overview:
The Client Service Department is responsible for implementing Bridgewater’s client strategy. Our global client base includes public and corporate pension funds, foreign governments and central banks, as well as university endowments and charitable foundations. Position Summary:
The Client Service Reporting Associate will be responsible for producing, analyzing, and proofing client reports and client specific analytics. Bridgewater’s unique fast-pace, non-hierarchical model and culture of excellence will provide an unlimited career development outlook for the talented candidate who proves capable of creating positive and timely impact.

Responsibilities would include:
• Using financial analysis to create and audit periodic return attribution and position reports and respond to custom client requests related to portfolio performance
• Understanding Bridgewater’s market views and investment methodology to proof client-specific reports
• Utilizing creative problem solving and advanced technology tools, including SQL, Excel Macros (VB), and Bridgewater-custom technology, to innovate and improve upon the automation of the report generation process

Position Requirements:
• One plus years of experience with a leading financial institution or a technology or strategy consultancy
• Excellent academic record from a competitive college including coursework in finance
• Power-user skills in Excel, (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts), and other Microsoft Office tools (previous extensive experience with macros in Excel and SQL queries is a plus)
• Superb analytical and creative problem solving skills demonstrated under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Strong work ethic and motivation demonstrated in ability to achieve results and drive projects to completion
• Comfortable with very demanding expectations of excellence
• Innate curiosity and aptitude to learn quickly both informally on the job and through formal training
• Able to prioritize and organize his/her time efficiently in a very fast-pace, constantly changing, and unstructured environment
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough
