Well-established fund of hedge funds looking for an experienced investment professional to work directly within our Relative Value investment team in our London office. We are an expanding group with offices in London, Jersey and New York. The role will involve evaluating hedge fund managers, assisting with investment decisions and staying abreast of relevant market conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a highly experienced team of leading professionals. The candidate will form part of a team that sources, evaluates and invests in hedge funds on a global basis.

The Role
• Building and maintaining relationships with hedge funds in which the group is invested.
• Constantly reviewing the wider peer group to identify existing and emerging hedge funds worthy of investigation and ensure current investments in best of breed managers.
• Contributing to portfolio construction decisions to ensure optimal weightings and timely entry and exit.
• Networking with capital introduction teams, sell-side and buy-side.
• Fulfilling required reporting and ad hoc client contact.

The Candidate
3-5 years of direct experience in banking, trading, sell-side research or alternative investments research. An advanced degree in finance, economics and/or CFA is a plus.
Candidate must communicate effectively and be able to interact with senior-level professionals in the marketplace to help determine our investment course.
