Our client is a well-established leading investment firm based in Connecticut focused on alternative investments, outsourced solutions and private capital. Due to continued growth and success, they are currently seeking an experienced RFP Manager to join their marketing communications team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage a team of RFP Writers, including assigning RFP’s, managing workflow and creating an efficient plan for meeting strict deadlines
· Answer and edit customized RFP’s, RFI’s and DDQ’s as needed
· Work closely with other departments within the firm, including sales, client services, and legal to qualify proposals and create effective responses for RFP’s, RFI’s and RFQ’s
· Track the status of all proposals and projects and provide update reports to management as needed
· Ensure that all RFP responses are accurate and up to date and comply with the firm’s standards of excellence
· Manage the maintenance of the RFP database and work closely with other professionals within the firm to develop new content for the database
· Assist in the quarter-end reporting process for consultants
Background Requirements:
· 5 – 7 years of RFP experience within the asset management industry
· 2 – 3 years of experience managing a RFP group for a financial services firm
· Ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and creating quality work
· Strong management skills with the ability to work with all levels of management and staff
· Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
· Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
· Experience with RFP software is a plus
· BA/BS required
· MBA/CFA a plus
· Willingness to obtain Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses within 3 months
