Job Title: Finance Officer – Accounts Payable

This is a 3 month contract position helping the existing finance team.
You should have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, ideally be working towards a recognised bookkeeping qualification and have 2 years of relevant experience.

Must have

• Relevant accounting skills
• Good analytical, organisational & planning abilities.
• Used to operating within a dynamic commercial business environment.

Duties include

• Ensuring all invoices are recorded on the financial accounting system.
• Administration of the clients’ corporate card.
• Assist with the administration of the requisition management system.
• Delivering a constantly high quality of service to personal callers to the department.
• Assist with the Jersey & UK VAT recovery process.

Qualifying Questions - to apply for this role applicants must be able to answer yes to all of the following questions:

• Are you a permanent resident in Jersey?
• Do you have or are working towards a recognised bookkeeping qualification?
• Do you have 2 years of relevant experience?
