Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform fundamental analysis, make investment recommendations and manage a portfolio of individual event-driven and special situation securities using a value oriented approach and an emphasis on original, bottom-up research.
• Monitor ongoing investment opportunities and industry trends.

Requirements of the Candidate:
• Proprietary Desk and/or buy side experience in event-driven and special situation positions is a plus.
• Solid financial modeling and spreadsheet skills.
• CFA, MBA and/or CPA is a plus.
• Database skills are a plus.
• Minimum 4-year undergraduate degree.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be a strong self-starter and able to work well independently.
