Our client is a leading investor in the infrastructure market and is now in the process of raising a fund to focus specifically on the clean energy technology market. To assist them in their investment plans they are looking for an experienced individual to join the senior management team.

This is an interesting opportunity to join a renewable energy fund that is looking to invest in wind, solar photovoltaic, biomass and small scale hydro projects throughout Europe and the emerging markets.

This position will focus on the origination and execution of investments in the clean energy space through investments at the construction and operation stage of projects. The successful individual will be responsible for sourcing investment opportunities and leading the transactions process from the initial pitch through to deal closure and as such must have previous experience working on and leading clean energy investments.

Suitable candidates will have:

• Excellent academics.
• Proven experience working on and closing renewable energy transactions throughout Europe.
• Relevant experience working on direct investments in either a Private Equity firm, Energy company or Investment Bank.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong numeric and financial skills.
• A real interest in clean energy technology.
