The Hedge Fund Investment Coordinator will provide financial and operational support for Black River Asset Management related to new investments, ongoing investment management, compliance, and reporting for both private equity and longer dated credit investments. This role will work with the Asset Management, Investment, and Fund Administration Platforms as well as external professional advisors to analyze and facilitate investments from an accounting, legal, tax and operational perspective.

This is a new opportunity for an Investment Coordinator to join Black River Asset Management is in our stunning Cobham offices based in Surrey, UK.

Principal Accountabilities:
 

• Coordinate both private equity and longer dated credit investments through the internal approval process.
• Facilitate deal closing with internal and external parties.
• Coordinate funds movement on both private equity and longer dated credit investments closings.
• Maintain both private equity and longer dated credit investment deal files for administration and compliance purposes.
• Administer both private equity and longer dated credit investments ongoing obligations.
• Track and coordinate both private equity and longer dated credit investments costs and income for partnership accounting.
• Administrative changes to both private equity and longer dated credit investments forms and processes as required.
• Coordination of both private equity and longer dated credit investments exit process.
 

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in legal or financial industry.
 

Preferred:

• Legal experience.
• Ability to review, research, creatively solve problems and recommend solutions.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong demonstrated self-motivation and high level of initiative.
• Strong communication skills - able to demonstrate both verbal and written skills with all levels of the organization.
• Relationship management - manage relationships with external vendors and advisors to ensure appropriate guidance and counsel.
• Knowledge and/or experience of a trading, financial markets business.
• Microsoft skills: Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point.
