Job Title: Fund of Funds Analyst - Directional
Description
Advertisment

The Company
Well-established fund of hedge funds looking for an experienced investment professional to work directly within our Directional investment team, based in either our London or New York office. Specific details of the role are outlined below, but for completeness we broadly define Directional to include Macro, CTA and Commodity based strategies.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a highly experienced team of leading professionals. The candidate will form part of a team that sources, evaluates and invests in hedge funds on a global basis.

The Role
• Sourcing, building and maintaining relationships with hedge funds in which the group is invested as well as those that we may invest in.
• Networking to ensure that access to managers remains high. This would include capital introductions, third party marketers and other appropriate industry bodies.
• Ongoing analysis of the wider peer group to ensure that current investments are in ‘best of breed’ managers and relevant to our investment requirements. This involved maintenance of an approved list of managers.
• Contribution to the generation of investment theses, both within the Directional team and wider investment group.
• Generation of a multitude of investment reporting related to managers and strategies.
• Assist in portfolio construction analysis and processes.
• Client contact will be undertaken on an ad hoc basis.

The Candidate
3-5 years of experience within directional, macro and systematic strategies across multi-asset classes. Relevant qualifications including an advanced degree in finance, economics and/or CFA/CAIA would also be beneficial.
