SENIOR HEDGE FUND MANAGER

Job Title: Senior Hedge Fund Manager, Single Strategy
Business Unit: Asset Management
Reporting To: Head of Alternative Investments
Location: Dublin, Ireland

Introduction
The Senior Hedge Funds Manager will be part of a team responsible for managing and developing KBC AM’s Alternative Investment Products. She/He will be responsible for the management of the hedge funds and single strategy hedge fund products as well as the creation of new products.

Key job responsibilities
The Senior Hedge Funds Manager will be required to:
• Assist with the development of new hedge fund products;

• Assist with the development of the fund of fund’s risk management and portfolio allocation tools;

• Day to Day Management of single strategy hedge fund products;

• Assist with Hedge Fund manager Selection and Fund of Fund management.

Core Skills & Competencies Required
The successful candidate will hold either a graduate or Masters qualification in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a similar relevant discipline. She/He will hold at least 3 years hedge fund experience and should also possess and demonstrate:

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team

• The ability to “think outside the box”

• Fixed income/credit analysis knowledge would be desirable

• Excellent IT skills: MS Office suite, in particular Excel and ACCESS

• Experience with MatLab, Mathematica, SAS would be an advantage
