High Frequency Trader for Award Winning Hedge Fund.

My client is looking to take on a high frequency trader to work in their new offices in New York. They are looking to take someone one who has been working on high frequency trading strategies and traded them live successfully for a minimum of a year. Depending on the frequency of the strategy they would expect to see a high Sharpe Ratio from anywhere between 2 to being in the double digits. 

Asset class is irrelevant – they currently have strategies within equity and equity derivatives and are looking to add to these strategies as well as diversify their portfolio. 

The fund begun as a systematic fund in London where they have performed consistently well. They are seen as leaders within this field and have an excellent reputation. They currently have about $4Bn AUM and are now looking to expand exponentially within the US as they equal their success in London across the Atlantic. They now see it as an ideal time to expand in the US after an extremely successful year. 

Compensation is extremely competitive with a base + bonus - and the process in our experience - is usually less than 10 days. This is an ongoing mandate as my client seeks to take on the crème de la crème and maintain its high standard that has ensured its success thus far.
