Based in the City of London, working as the Investment Operations Principal you will be responsible for:
Managing investment execution activities for a range of clients of the London office and to support the partners in managing key client relationships.
• All aspects of London office operations, including day-to-day management of the seven person team
• Mentoring and coaching junior members of the Operations team
• Recruiting and training future members of the rapidly expanding London operations team
• Developing and enhancing the processes and procedures that underpin the London operations effort
• Managing and develop the firm's relationships with key counterparties (Custodians, Brokers,
Administrators, FX Dealers)
Client Relationship Management
• Supporting the London investment principals and partners by acting as key client support on a number
of London clients
• Working with the London office principals and partners in preparing for client meetings and dealing
with client queries
• Responding to client calls and act as support to the partners and principals where necessary
• Providing input to and assist with the process for attracting new clients, including preparation of
tailored proposals and portfolio recommendations
• Attending introductory client meetings with partners as required
• Following up on actions required to secure new clients for the firm
• Ensuring that account opening documents are completely and accurately completed and filed
• Ensuring that regulatory compliance rules are adhered to, especially around KYC and AML 

Who we're looking for
You will possess a strong academic background through to degree level. You must be comfortable working with numbers and have a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Prior investment advisory experience is desirable. The client will support your study for a suitable regulatory qualification.
You must be an articulate self-starter with excellent analytical and organisational skills and the aptitude to prioritise daily workload and work accurately, efficiently and under pressure. You will also demonstrate a strong sense of ownership of your work, allied to a team-player mindset, not just that of an employee. You will have a working knowledge of the financial industry and investments. Experience in investment execution is a pre-requisite. Strong communication skills are vital as the role requires communication with management, service providers and clients.
