A rare opportunity has arisen to work for a well-established asset management company within its recently formed hedge fund division. Both organisations are fast becoming major players in the marketplace and the role offers a varied and exciting challenge.
Launched only a year ago, this hedge fund is continuing to promote its new business and consequently is expanding its team to support the introduction of 130/30 funds. 

Working very closely alongside fund managers and dealers in the middle office, you will be responsible for ensuring that trades are processed accurately whilst adhering to deadlines, producing daily valuations and ensuring that all FX/Hedging positions are monitored and carried out correctly. You will also review daily cashflows and advise fund management of necessary trading changes using relevant in-house trading tools.
In addition you will also be expected to liaise with Prime Brokers as and when ad-hoc queries arise.

The successful applicant will be experienced in hedge funds, asset management or fund management support. It is essential that you have excellent product knowledge including derivatives.

Key pre-requisites are accuracy, time management and the ability to prioritise workload with a team player attitude. You should also have excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
