Cube Capital is currently recruiting for a Junior Analyst at their London office. Working as part of a small group you will be a team player with a desire to grow and learn about diverse investment fields and gain exposure to a wide variety to interesting global businesses.

 

The candidate:

You will be a hard worker, who is able to think and work independently, while being able to fit into a motivated team culture. Key attributes will be a high level of numeracy and excellent attention to detail. You will have excellent command of Excel as well as be at ease with other quantitative or modelling tools. You will also be articulate, with an analytical and enquiring mind. Prior equity research or other analytical financial background is an advantage, but not necessarily a prerequisite. Some travel may be involved in the future as the role develops.

 

Responsibilities:

You will attend UK and European capital introduction events meeting hedge fund managers as a way of looking at new investment opportunities for Cube Capital. You will write analytical reports on the managers you have met, provide support to the Portfolio Manager / analysts, and assist in the compilation of our monthly newsletters to investors. Additionally you will provide support on the investment management operations, and our risk management system. Other tasks will be the undertaking of operational due diligence on hedge funds and supporting our marketing efforts. On occasions there will be projects to research special situations, such as an equity trades, and the collation of data for developing presentations for internal or external parties.
