Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for a Private Equity Investment Manager to join our high profile client.
Our client is an independent London-based private equity fund manager with a focus on the European cleantech and industrials market. They currently have 2 teams both of which are currently expanding and recruiting. At present they stand at 20 investment team members and are looking to expand further. They have a very strong name in the market and are well known for their success.
The Investment Manager will:
• Co-lead deal teams along the entire investment process, including deal origination, company and industry analysis, due diligence process management, internal investment documentation, deal execution, portfolio monitoring and exit preparation; hands-on assistance to portfolio companies in areas such as internal improvement, reporting and strategy formulation can be an important part of the role
• Research: Identify and conduct research on selected investment sectors
• Deal sourcing: Assist in sourcing of investment opportunities in the European technology market
Candidates MUST have:
 Top tier EU University
 6 years commercial experience
 3 years in investment management (with a track record)
 3 years experience of UK or Nordic PE Deals
 5 years professional experience in principal investing, general management, operations, investment banking, or consulting.
 Strong professional networks in either UK, Norway, Sweden, Denmark or Finland
 Strong analytical skills, ability to develop investment hypotheses and a compelling investment case for internal investment decisions
 A dynamic approach to investments, and an enthusiasm to match this.
This suits a candidate who is looking for a move to from an IB into a fund where responsibility is high and team small.
